TAS castable for hot metal tank is a kind of granular and powdery material which is made by adding a certain amount of binder to the refractory. It has high fluidity and is shaped by casting. According to different hot metal tanks, different tanks can be made. Compared with other amorphous refractories, the binder and moisture content are higher and the fluidity is better. Therefore, the castable has a wide range of applications. The materials and binders used can be selected according to the service conditions. It can be used not only as lining but also as precast block by pouring or vibrating.
