Product introduction
Fireclay brick for hot blast furnace is a kind of clay brick which is made of refractory clay and used to build hot blast furnace. The brick has good thermal shock resistance and high load softening temperature. Clay brick was first used to build hot blast furnace. In 1857, e. Cowper obtained the patent of using clay brick built hot blast furnace for heating and blowing. The clay brick of hot blast stove is usually made into honeycomb, quincunx and wave shape to increase the heat exchange area.
Product performance
Technical properties of clay brick for hot blast stove: Al2O3 42% ~ 44%; fire resistance 1730-1750 ℃; load softening temperature 1350 ~ 1400 ℃; reheating line change (1350 ℃, 2h) 0 ~ - 0.4%; apparent porosity 24%; normal temperature compressive strength 24.5 ~ 29.4mpa.
The main performance of clay brick for hot blast stove is that it has small creep under the action of long-term high temperature.
Production process
The production process is basically the same as that of clay brick. In order to maintain the excellent thermal shock resistance of brick, coarse particles are used for batching, and the batching error is controlled within ± 0.5% in production; the pressure mixer is used for mixing; the high tonnage friction press or hydraulic press is used for forming, and the forming unit area pressure is greater than 50MPa, the bulk density of brick is greater than 2.3g/cm3, and the firing temperature is 1320-1370 ℃.
Product use
It is used for combustion chamber, regenerator and partition wall of hot blast stove. The clay brick of hot blast stove requires good thermal shock resistance, high load softening temperature and small creep. In manufacturing, Al2O3 content should be increased, impurities should be reduced and physical properties of bricks should be improved. With the high blast temperature adopted in blast furnace, the proportion of clay brick used in hot blast furnace is gradually reduced
