The low temperature rough joint paste of blast furnace is made of artificial graphite or natural graphite as the main raw material, which is mixed with superfine powder additive, coal series oil as binder, heated to 50 ℃ by steam, and cold ramming process is used to fill the gap between carbon block and cooling equipment, between carbon block and carbon block, between carbon block and refractory brick. It is used to fill the carbon material between the cathode steel bars of the aluminum electrolytic cell.
Anthracite and metallurgical coke are used as raw materials in the production of coarse joint paste. The production process is the same as electric paste, but the proportioning is different. The binder is a mixture of medium temperature asphalt and coal tar or onion oil. The purpose is to reduce the softening point of the binder properly.
