Product introduction
The abbreviation of AZS is AZS. It is arranged according to the three chemical components of the phase diagram of al2o3-zr02-sio2 ternary system. Al2O3 takes a, Zr02 takes Z, SiO2 takes S. this abbreviation is used in the national standard. For example, No. 33 fused zirconia corundum brick is abbreviated as azs-33 and No. 36 fused zirconia corundum brick is abbreviated as azs-36, No. 41 fused zirconia corundum brick, abbreviated as azs-41.
Fused zirconia corundum brick is commonly known as white iron brick or fused cast zirconia corundum brick. It is the most important refractory to ensure the normal operation of the glass furnace. At present, it is mainly due to the use of this refractory that the glass furnace at home and abroad improves the melting rate, prolongs the furnace life and reduces the fuel consumption.
Fused zirconia corundum brick can also be called corundum - zircon products. Its main chemical composition is Al2O3 50% - 70%, ZrO2 20% - 40%, and the rest is SiO2. The main mineral compositions are zircon (ZrO2), corundum (α - Al2O3) and glass phase. The zircon crystal forms the brick backbone. ZrO2 has a high melting point (2715 ℃), good chemical stability and strong resistance to acid and alkaline media, especially to glass liquid.
With the increase of ZrO2 content, the performance of fused zirconia corundum brick is also improved. Generally, the zirconia corundum brick is divided into several grades according to the ZrO2 content, such as 33%, 36%, 41%, and 30%, 40x, 50%, which are not uniform. At present, 33% zirconium containing products are widely used, with a density of 3.65-3.7g/cm3 and a maximum operating temperature of about 1700 ℃.
The electric fused zirconium corundum brick is used in industrial furnaces such as glass furnaces, where the upper pool wall, small furnace arch, small furnace buttress, tongue arch and breast wall are built.
