Product introduction
The light heat preservation brick has the advantages of good heat insulation performance, but its pressure resistance, slag resistance and thermal shock resistance are poor, so it can not contact with glass liquid or flame directly. Light insulating brick for glass kiln
Product classification
1. Light silica brick
Light siliceous heat insulation brick is a heat insulation and fire-resistant product with SiO2 content not less than 91% which is made of silica as the main raw material. The volume of light silicon insulating brick is 0.9 ~ 1.1g/cm3, the thermal conductivity is only half of that of ordinary silicon brick, the thermal shock resistance is good, and the start temperature of load softening can reach 1600 ℃, which is much higher than that of clay insulating brick. Therefore, the high service temperature of silicon insulating brick can reach 1550 ℃. It doesn't shrink at high temperature, and even has weak expansion. Generally, crystalline quartzite is used as raw material for light silica brick, and inflammable substances such as coke, anthracite and sawdust are added into the mixture, or porous structure is formed by gas foaming method.
2. Alumina insulating brick
Products with high fire resistance and good shock resistance are often used as high temperature insulation layer of kiln. The operating temperature is 1350 ~ 1500 ℃, and the operating temperature of high-purity products can reach 1650 ~ 1800 ℃. It is mainly made of fused corundum, sintered alumina and industrial alumina.
3. Diatomite brick
Compared with other light insulating bricks, diatomite brick has lower thermal conductivity. Its use temperature varies with its purity. Generally, it is below 1100 ℃, because the shrinkage deformation of products is large at high temperature. When using pure diatomite as raw material, it needs to be fired at a higher temperature. Silica can be converted into tridymite, and lime can also be added as binder and mineralizer to promote the conversion of tridymite during firing, which is conducive to improving the heat resistance of products and reducing the burning shrinkage under high temperature.
4. Clay insulating brick
It is a heat insulation and fire-resistant product with Al2O3 content of 30% ~ 48% made of fire-resistant clay as the main raw material. The production process uses burning and adding method and foam method. The light clay insulating brick is widely used in various industrial kilns. It is mainly used as insulating layer refractory without contact with molten materials and other functions of erosion. The service temperature is 1200 ~ 1400 ℃.
5. Alumina hollow ball brick
Alumina hollow ball brick is mainly used for a long time under 1800 ℃. It also has good chemical stability and corrosion resistance at high temperature. Compared with other light insulating bricks, alumina hollow ball brick has higher safety temperature, higher strength and lower thermal conductivity. The bulk density of the product is 50% ~ 60% lower than that of the dense product with the same composition, which can withstand the impact of high temperature flame.
6. Light mullite brick
The heat insulation and fire-resistant products are made of mullite. Mullite heat insulation brick has the advantages of high temperature resistance, high strength, low thermal conductivity and direct contact with flame. It is suitable for lining of various industrial kilns.
