Product introduction
Large clay firebrick for glass furnace is of large size, so its production technology is complex. With the rapid development of glass industry, new requirements are put forward for the quality of firebrick. Although there are some experiences in the production of large clay firebrick for glass furnace before, the relatively backward production technology is still used, and the plastic method is always used in the production and operation Because of the restriction of the method, the improvement of the quality and the rate of finished products of the firebrick is very good. Over the years, the staff have been improving the production process, and the production capacity has been leaping forward. The quality of all kinds of products has been significantly improved.
In the production of large clay refractory bricks for glass kilns, we have trial production work. The raw material formula of the trial production is: 30% d stone clinker less than 2mm, 40% clinker less than 0.54mm and 30% soft clay less than 0.54mm.
The moisture content (relative moisture content) of molding soil is 6.5-7.0%, and the firing temperature of firebrick is 1330 ℃, the physical and chemical properties of firebrick are basically good.
According to the above formula and the high quality of production, the main problem encountered in the trial production is that the firing yield is low, and a large number of 20-30% cracks are damaged, mainly forming layer cracks.
Production process
1. The cross-sectional area of the hammer head of the tamping machine was reduced from 8 × 8 cm to 4 × 4 cm, and the punching pressure per unit area was increased.
2. The forming and tamping method has been changed from the original fixed direction row to the vertical, horizontal and oblique row, which overcomes the spalling phenomenon caused by the soil support.
3. In order to reduce the shrinkage resistance of each brick in firing stage, the method of charging kiln code is improved, which is changed from horizontal code to vertical code.
